8. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
Most of the time, your data is retained within the European Union.
However, when our providers are in countries outside the European Union, we share some of your data with third countries, such as with third countries where the European Commission has not conducted an evaluation of the compliance level.
In this case, we ensure that this data sharing is done in compliance with the applicable regulations and that your privacy and fundamental rights are guaranteed (for example, by using the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
The data protection delegation can provide you with more information about the data transfer if you request it.
9. SECURITY MEASURES
Through the technical and organizational measures we take, we can ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks for the rights and freedoms of individuals concerning the points mentioned in section 2. Furthermore, we comply with the PCI DSS card payment industry security standard, demonstrating our commitment to security.
10. PROFILING AND AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Through the automated processing we use (such as profiling), you are subject to legal effects that affect you.
This is essential for the conclusion or execution of the contract that binds you to us.
This is how we can offer and perform automated customer identification and "4x payment." The basis for this operation is related to analyzing different variables concerning the type of products, services ordered, or customer profile.
If the risk is assessed with these statistics as too high (fraud/unpaid), then this payment method will not be offered.
However, if you wish, you can obtain human intervention even though the decisions are automated, you can give your opinion and/or oppose the automatic decision.
11. POLICY UPDATE AND REVIEW
Our personal data policy will be updated whenever necessary to comply with applicable data protection regulations (at least every three (3) years).
